Find out why doctors won’t give the life-changing drug to Alzheimer sufferers

A demonstration takes place later today against the decision to change the way in which Alzheimer’s drugs are given. Previous guidelines stated that drugs to slow down the process should be given to patients during the early stages. But, a recent change in recommendations will mean doctors will not be able to give life-changing drugs until the patient’s symptoms are much worse. Plus, a further drug taken in the final stages will be taken off the NHS.
